For this project, I found it to be interesting that we were given a chance to interact with the slides in whatever way we wished. At first I didn’t know exactly how to go about interacting with them but eventually I had a question of how some of the slides would look if they were placed on top of each other to create a distortion of reality I did this by drawing them with charcoal and my reasoning for using charcoal was because I felt like it wouldn’t restrict me on trying to create something that’s “perfect” but also a part of me still wanted to see how it feels to mix acrylic with charcoal and that’s why I added some red acrylic in some parts.
